- Is my personal and prescription information secure?
We will only ask you for the essential information we need to collect and dispense your prescription. The prescription details you enter are stored securely on our systems and can only be viewed by our pharmacy staff. Any details submitted to WelPharm Pharmacy are treated as confidential at all times. Your personnel information will never be passed on to anyone else.
- Is delivery always free?
Yes it is. Delivery of all our medication is always free of charge any where in the UK.
- Do I need to be in for delivery of my medicines and what happens if I am out?
Professional pharmacy guidance requires that someone over the age of 18 signs for receipt of medicines, so the package will need to be signed for. We can deliver to any address – your home, place of work, to a carer or neighbour. If you agree you can choose a safe place if you are not at home to accept delivery or if they still cannot deliver, a card will be left so you can arrange re-delivery for free.
- Who will deliver my medication?
Your medication will be delivered by Royal Mail in discreet, plain packaging. We will let yo know when we dispatch your medication and Royal Mail may send you an email or text message on the day of delivery to inform you at what time your parcel will arrive.
- What if my prescription/medicines change or I need to order a medicine that is not on my usual prescription?
Do not worry. Our pharmacy team will organise and manage any changes to your prescription. We will communicate with your GP to ensure all future prescriptions have your new medication or any changes to have occurred.
- Can I still nominate WelPharm Pharmacy if I have already nominated another pharmacy?
Yes you can. The NHS EPS service allows you to nominate where you would like your GP to send your prescription at any time, making it more convenient for you or a carer.
